I just spent upwards of forty dollars on towels.

They aren't even soft and fluffy! I'm not sure why you'd register for overpriced towels from Wal-Mart as a wedding gift, but I'm too apathetic to deviate from the list and find something unique and meaningful for my friends. Fortunately, my brother was there to talk me out of buying them the matching fuzzy toilet cover as well.

Micah likes scratchy towels...but I don't know why other people would buy them. I registered for fluffy ones. And we bought a few scratchy ones cheap for him.

I just bought a lettuce cooler thing as a wedding present. But it's supposed to keep fruits, veggies, and lettuce fresher longer. And that's a financial investment. :)

Wow. I am sure there are some lower priced towels that you could get at WalMart that feel good.

At least you made the decision and got them what they registered for because that is what they really want.

I just found your blog and I am enjoying reading so keep up the writing.

Hmm, it hadn't occured to me that anyone would actually prefer scratchy fabric against his bare skin. I figured towels are something practical that they'll definitely use.

I'm glad you didn't get the seat cover. I'm not a fan of enabling other people's poor design choices.

Yes, I think I'm a snob and proud of it.
